ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Peter is a retired New Zealand diplomat who has written a personal memoir New Moons for Sam, describing his childhood in England and New Zealand, and his 35 years as a junior then senior New Zealand diplomat. The story takes place in nine different countries describing the hundreds of amazing individuals he encountered in each one, from country folk to the politically powerful. The memoir provides a rare insider's account of the workings of New Zealand diplomacy and government, told with a sense of humour and humility.
