ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Author Maria Gill has been writing for 20+ years. Over that time, she has written 62 books for the national and international market. Her book Anzac Heroes won the 2016 Book of the Year, as well as the Nonfiction prize. She has also won 13 Notable Book Awards and been awarded the Margaret Mahy Medal for outstanding services to children's literature.
